Senior Budget Analyst - (Fort Belvoir, VA)

KForce Government Solutions (KGS) is seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to support DTRA's Program and Budget Division in providing budget formulation, tracking and reconciling agency approprition controls, and integration support. This position is a senior position supporting the O&M Appropriation Manager within the Agency and will provide: DAILY RECURRING DUTIES: a. Daily Agency-level reporting: funding controls, FADs, execution against OSD goals, reprogrammings, Sec 802, expenditure type (OC/SOC) ceilings, contracted services ceilings, etc. Creation of new reports as needed from raw data. b. Daily Reconciliation of controls against what is loaded in the finanical system and identify and correct and out of balances. c. Complete Reprogrammings betweens budget lines in the accouting system. d. Updated controls daily. MONTHLY RECURRING DUTIES: a. Ensure appropriations are in balance for month end close.
