Join the development team of Infinera's next generation digital coherent optical transceiver modules, and take on critical challenges in chip, module, and system designs to enable the next generation multi terabit optical fiber transmission systems for data center, metro, and long haul markets. Critical functions / Critical responsibilities:. Experimentally bring up and conceptually prove Infinera's next generation coherent optical transponder at early development or prototype stage. Interface with optical and DSP design teams to provide feedback on prototype design variants throughout the product development phase. Assist test capability and test set development teams in guiding calibration and performance test needs in modular test programs for Infinera's next generation coherent optical transport system Education & Background Necessary for Success:. MS or PhD in in optical fiber communication, or optoelectronic / photonic device physics, or coherent communication systems.
