Records Manager (Forms & Records Analyst Supervisor) - (Olympia, WA)
Description Records Manager The Washington State Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation (DAHP) believes that if we do not preserve the diminishing presence of our historic places, we could undermine the stability and strength of future communities. Preserving our cultural resources not only reminds us of our past, but is also recognized as a tool for economic development. Preservation is a forward-looking, community revitalization strategy that also instills civic pride and community spirit. DAHP is currently hiring a Records Manager (Public Records Officer), a position required by law. The essence of the job is to ensure all data collections are in compliance and meet the requirements established for state and federal laws. A significant responsibility is to archive archaeological site forms, cultural resource forms and reports while developing and administering DAHP databases and providing cultural resource info to the public and consultants upon request.
