NORTHERN MAINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT JOB TITLE: Automotive Technology Instructor START DATE: January 7, 2019 REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (in an appropriate discipline) or an Associate degree in Automotive Technology is preferred for this position. ASE Master Certification is required, along with min of 6yrs of background in the automotive service industry. Successful teaching background, including assessment and curriculum development is preferred. Superior written and verbal communication abilities are essential. RESPONSIBILITIES: Instructional responsibilities include both classroom and shop instruction in the major courses for the Automotive Technology program. Other faculty assignments include student advising, curriculum development, participation in committee work, professional development and assessment activities.
