Computer Support Technician Position Info Position title Computer Support Technician Job summary The Computer Support Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware, classroom technology, access control and any network related problems. Install new hardware, software upgrades and patches, network and phone cabling as required. Organizes Student Technical Assistants and works with other computer support staff as necessary to support technology. Location Harrogate Minimum requirements Associate degree in computer science or related position; 2 years repair and networking background; or any equivalent combination of education and/or background from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been derived.
