Improvement Engineer - Ethoxylates Park - (Hahnville, LA)

The Ethoxylates Park (EXP) facility at St. Charles Operations has an opening for an Improvement Engineer. EXP is the flagship asset for the PSF&L business, producing primarily polyglycols and surfactants for industrial and pharmaceutical applications. The successful applicant for this job will lead initiatives to improve plant performance through the development and implementation of capital and expense projects. These projects include several large expansion and lifetime extension projects targeted for installation in 2020, as well as smaller safety, quality improvement, and cycle time / cost reduction opportunities. The improvement engineer also assists operations and plant staff in troubleshooting plant issues, conducting RCI's, and responding to customer complaints. Typical Position duties: Lead and support plant continuous improvement activities. Serve as project manager or manufacturing representative, using the GPM process to execute multiple projects.
