Freight Broker - (Lathrop, CA)

We are seeking individuals who are outgoing, detail oriented, goal-driven, and have outstanding communication expertise. Experienced Freight Brokers with an established book of business are preferred. This position is Full-time, the base salary is anywhere between $36,000 and $72,000 plus commission. Preferred applicants will have Midwest to California, or Midwest to Texas lanes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: -- Perform freight services according to BINNING TRANSPORT INC and Government Regulations -- Generate leads and cold call new prospects -- Create a sales pipeline for continued growth and success -- Acquire new shipping customers through various sales means -- Quote and cover truckload shipments -- Complete national bids and daily spot bids on various load boards -- Understand the market trends and seasonality in the dynamic transportation marketplace -- Work with Shippers, Carriers
