Maintenance Mechanic Sr. with Security Clearance - (Cape Canaveral, FL)

Description: This position mandates the modification, maintenance, repair and operation of powered transportation vehicles such as cranes, and mobile missile ground handling and support equipment; the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of machine tools, fabrication machines, proof test equipment, plant machinery and mechanical equipment. Periodically inspects the above to determine and perform the repair, maintenance, and corrosion control necessary to prevent functional breakdowns. Determines methods and sequence of operations, dismantles, diagnoses trouble, repairs, tunes up, mechanically services, reassembles, installs and tests vehicles, equipment and machinery to include hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Replaces and installs pistons, rings, valves, bearings, crankshafts, transmissions, differentials, ignition systems, clutches, hydraulic cylinders. Rebuilds carburetors, starter motors, generators.
