Legal Counsel, Region Americas - (Springfield, MO)

Seeking an experienced attorney to serve as in-house legal counsel at a growing material handling equipment manufacturer and service company located in Springfield, Ohio. Applicants should have at least 4 yrs of background primarily in the areas of corporate/business law, commercial and product liability litigation and/or government contracts and preferably background in some or all of the following areas: real estate, corporate governance, insurance, construction, intellectual property, antitrust and bankruptcy. While the successful applicants' primary areas of background may be in the areas of litigation and/or government contracts the position involves a heavy emphasis on corporate/business law and issues. The company is looking for an individual with sound business acumen with a strong desire to learn new areas of law, the business of the company and provide a high-level of client service coupled with the expertise to work both independently and in a team environment.
