Information: The Exercise Specialist is responsible for the facility s day-to-day operations including member fitness, group fitness, personal training, facilities and equipment. This individual also assists the clinical rehabilitation programs by providing support staff to the scope of service for physical and occupational therapy. Duties, Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Recruits, selects, and develops the facility s fitness staff ensuring all teammates collaborate closely to accomplish the mission of the department Ensures that all users in the center have an enjoyable experience while on the premises Oversees and monitors new user screenings, assessments and orientations ensuring users are placed into the most appropriate fitness program to ensure longterm success.
