Bioinformatics Specialist - (Knoxville, TN)

The Bioinformatics Specialist at EDP Biotech, is an important part of a small and dynamic team of Scientists, Project Managers and Support staff. This position will review, analyze, document and present clinical and scientific data from lab work conducted, clinical trial data and other areas where applicable. A strong experience in machine learning algorithms, database development, and software coding will be required to be successful in this vital role for the company. Once data is obtained, this position will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with, creating and/or managing databases, machine learning algorithms, coding new, potential software (either in house or will work in collaboration with outside third party developers) to help EDP reach a successful and marketable products and additional tools that may be created for use in house. When applicable this position must be involved in documentation in many of these areas in relation to our Quality System and ISO13485 certification.
