Security Guard Supervisor - (Davis, CA)

Under the direction of the AHS & Protective Services Director, maintains security and controls access at the primary entrance to the California National Primate Research Center (CNPRC). Provides general assistance to staff, visitors and official guests. Conducts foot and vehicle patrols through the CNPRC. Monitors CCTV equipment and reports malfunctions. Supervises Protective Service Officers (Security Guards). Provides leadership and is responsible for the duties and general performance of each Protective Service Officer. Disseminates orders and work rules. Conducts employee performance reviews and communicates those evaluations to his/her staff. Provides orientation and on the job training for subordinates. Physical requirements: Must have a vision of 20/100 correctable to 20/30, with normal color vision; have weight in proportion to height. Must sustain a walking foot beat and stand at a fixed post for extended hours.
