What Youll Do: As a Hydrostatic Tester, you will pressure and/or leak test grey iron castings, while maintaining quality and safety standards in order to meet customer expectations. Your Accountabilities in the Role: • Assemble parts for loading on testing bench. • Visually examine parts for defects such as cracks and blowholes. • Measures results of pressure test and logs data. • Separates and marks defective parts according to job specifications and procedures. • Files/deburrs surplus metal from parts as needed. • Disassembles parts after testing is complete. • Moves parts to staging area for storage in assembly or warehouse.
