Managing Editor, Yarn and Fiber Job description The Managing Editor is the key person responsible for the overall in-house coordination and editorial flow of the content products within the Yarn and Fiber markets, including magazines, magazine-related products, digital products, and other products as directed. This position is part of the Yarn Editorial team, reports to the Group Editorial Director, and is based in the Fort Collins office. Essential Job Functions Employment Responsibilities Creates internal deadline schedules consistent with external deadlines and ensures teams adhere to them Assists the Group Editorial Director and Editors in long- and short term planning. Works collaboratively with editorial staff in developing overall editorial planning. Determines priorities and allocates time and resources effectively. Manages the flow of all editorial content between the editorial and design teams and the flow within the editorial team.
