Medical Literacy Editor - (Mahtomedi, MN)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Organize and structure new manuscripts and scripts to comply with Elsevier templates. Edit new manuscripts and scripts to comply with health literacy and plain language principles, Elsevier style, standard terminology, and for consistency, grammar, punctuation, and reading level. Maintain review schedule for existing documents in assigned medical categories. Communicate with assigned clinical reviewers. Query reviewers regarding accuracy of medical content, current practices and guidelines, new research and technology, and other clinical best-practices and references during the review process for new as well as existing documents. Ensure that all associated documents are updated according to existing main document review revisions. Publish new documents and update existing documents, using the Elsevier content authoring system. Research document topics to expand understanding of medical content and terminology.
