Controller - (Rock Island, IL)

The Controller oversees all financial and reporting functions for the unit including accounting, payroll, annual plan, audit assistance and cash management. Implement and enforce of internal controls; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. In conjunction with the Senior Director of Finance and Corporate Accounting Department, provide unit management with financial analysis of the operation. Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including supervision of accounting personnel; preparation, review and approval of: Daily Sales Report, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management and accounts payable. Ensure paperwork gets processed accurately, timely, with correct numbers. Analyze and report variances, monthly financial projections, month-end accounting duties, oversee audit requirements and cash management Prepare external reports to State agencies, and internal reports which outline unit's financial position in the areas of income, expenses
