Transportation Planner - (Hoopa, CA)

VACANT POSITION Transportation Planner: Hoopa Roads Department. Regular, F/T. Salary: $60,000-$65,000 DOQ The position is an interdisciplinary team player who will develop and analyze policy and data to prepare, administer, and monitor transportation plans, programs, and projects. The position will also administer and monitor the federal Tribal Transportation Program (TTP) funding sources, and is responsible for the preparation of the annual budget for federal, state, and local transportation funds to be approved by the Hoopa Valley Tribal Council. Min requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering Degree, or closely related position and/or six years of equivalent planning experience. Must be knowledgeable of professional engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to a full range of duties associated with design, construction, and maintenance of transportation systems and related facilities.
