General Maintenance Worker Position details: Ahtna Environmental Incorporated is recruiting for a General Maintenance Worker to work out of a federal agency in the Seattle, Washington area. This position provides overall facilities maintenance support for complex facilities having office, laboratory, computer, warehouse and other special purpose spaces; helping with preventive maintenance and general repairs on building operating systems (e.g., Heating, Ventilation & Air conditioner (HVAC); electrical; plumbing; other mech Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of building operating systems to ensure proper operation. Systems covered include: heating, ventilation & a/c (HVAC); electrical distribution; lighting; plumbing; laboratory support; heat source boilers; and other mechanical systems Corrects deficiencies discovered as a result of preventive maintenance or inspections or deficiencies that occur during the course of normal operations
