Accounts Receivable Supervisor - (Titusville, FL)

General Description: Under the general supervision of the Business Officer Manager, the AR Supervisor coordinates and manages the daily activities of the Insurance Representatives in order to maximize collections from all sources and to ensure cash goals are met. Responsible for monitoring charity and bad debt Essential responsibilities: - Monitors the collections of the Insurance Reps to ensure departmental cash goals are met. - Assist staff with resolution of collection issues with slow pay insurance companies, and precert denial issues. -Responsible for the hiring, evaluation, counseling and termination (when necessary), of staff. -Primary liaison with insurance carriers. -Develops and implements new procedures as related to collections of insurance accounts. -Compiles and analyzes monthly reports used for monitoring cash collections, charity and bad debt. -Responsible for training staff on all regulations as related to collections from insurance companies.
