Staff Accountant - (Melville, NY)

STAFF ACCOUNTANT The position of Staff Accountant is in our General Accounting Department and reports to our Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller and Controller. Excellent applicants will have (5) 5 yrs of background. Staff Account will handle bank reconciliations, monthly review of books and records, account analysis. Preparation of internal financial statements and bank compliance reporting as well as other accounting related functions and projects. Computer background with Microsoft excel and accounting software for journal entry input, internet banking programs, etc. is required. Preferred applicants will have relevant background working in multi-family rental property management have Yardi software familiarization.
