Untitled Full time Custodian - High-school (second Shift) The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated full time Custodian vacancy at the high-school. Hours of work are 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. This position is responsible for miscellaneous building maintenance and grounds care, cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, lavatories, and the cafeteria; emptying trash and recycling containers; replacing supplies; using appropriate equipment and chemicals as needed; and other tasks as assigned by the head custodian or designee. Starting rate is $12.75/hour. This is a benefit eligible position. Benefits include: PPO medical, prescription, dental (no cost), life insurance (no cost), and PSERS retirement. There's no waiting period for benefit eligibility. Six Months background in custodial work is preferred. Demonstrated expertise to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance required.
