Senior Financial Analyst - (Charlotte, NC)

Financial analyst is responsible for maintaining a fiscally sound organization that conforms to legal qualifications and to generally accepted fiscal management principles. Provide financial research, analysis and planning tools for senior management and business unit finance departments. Report key info as needed to corporate planning.Responsibilities: Prepares and analyzes consolidated financial reports for senior group management and corporate management based on data received from domestic business units on a monthly and quarterly basis. Some of this reporting is routine (completed on the same time schedule each period) while other reporting is done on an ad-hoc basis depending upon current and future needs. Prepares and coordinates monthly and quarterly financial projections. Coordinates the preparation of financial data for Operation Reviews. Performs monthly variance and trend analysis for SG&A. Assists the Assistant Vice President (AVP) in developing action plans for negative variances and trends.
