PT WITH POTENTIAL FOR FT SHELTER CARE LICENSED THERAPIST : Position overview : The staff member’s primary duty includes providing diagnostic treatment planning and therapy for children and families, family assessments in our Shelter Care facility and in their home environment. Completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation is essential. REQUIREMENTS: Education : Master’s degree in human services related position and licensed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. Background : At least one year of therapy related role with children and families. Skills & Knowledge : Familiar with variety of therapeutic techniques and theories to aid in the care and treatment of individual’s mental health such as behavior modifications for children, child development education, communication, decision-making skills, anger management, social skills, leisure, self-esteem and basic home budgeting.
