Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician - (Louisville, KY)

The Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician (HPMP) is assigned to the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center (HICC) or specific Hosparus Health community locations and is supervised by the Sr. Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician and/or Medical Director. The HPMP provides direct patient care, including accepting patients as the hospice attending physician and providing consultations at the request of community physicians and community or Hosparus Health nurse practitioners, making medically-necessary visits (billable) and face-to-face recertification (FTF) visits (non-billable), when needed, and rotating to cover HICC night call, HICC weekend call and HICC weekend visits and/or general Hosparus-wide officer of the day, night call and weekend call.
