Process Sciences Laboratory Assistant - (Albany, NY)

We are hiring a Laboratory Assistant for a long term contract position with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical organization. The perfect candidate will have background in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Bioengineering. This is the chance to utilize your engineering knowledge and background within a hands-on laboratory environment. Position responsibilities and assignments include, but are not limited to: --- Conducting scaled-down production modeling to support raw materials flow --- Assists in maintain laboratory samples, supplies and equipment including bioreactors --- Prepares lab media and reagents Successful applicants will possess the following skills, education and background: --- Bachelor's degree in Biochemical, Chemical or Bioengineering --- 1-two years of relevant background through work background, internships or Co-ops in the pharmaceutical industry --- Knowledge and background with Mammalian cell culture and Aseptic Technique
