Teacher, Criminal Justice - (Hutto, TX)

Primary Purpose: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Requirements: Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university or high-school certificate/GED and equivalent wage-earning background as required by certification Demonstrated competency in the career and technology subject area assigned Need: Trade and Industrial Education Teaching Certificate (Grades 8-12) with appropriate work approval as identified on the certificate. Plus: Valid industry license appropriate for the assignment (Law Enforcement) Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of core academic subject assigned General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Expertise to instruct students and manage their behavior Expertise to supervise student field experiences in career area
