Recent projects have included satellite servicing missions and NASA missions destined for Jupiter's moon Europa. Work alongside engineering staff both in NH and at the SwRI main campus in San Antonio. Occasional travel to San Antonio may be required.Education/Background:Requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 7-ten years of FPGA design background. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. MS or PhD is preferred. Familiarity with FPGA device families such as Microsemi RT/AX, ProASIC3, and RTG4 - Xilinx Virtex five is required. Knowledge in FPGA development tools such as Microsemi Libero and Xilinx Vivado/IDE.FPGA simulation tool, Modelsim PC board tools, and Altium is required.
