Recycling & Collection Station Assistant - (Brenham, TX)

Summary Assists with daily operations at both the Brenham Recycling Center and Citizens Collection Station, including duties associated with city and community recycling programs; responsible for the duties of Collection Station Attendant and Recycling Attendant in their absence, including balancing cash drawer daily; assisting customers; maintaining equipment; and scheduling volunteer workers. Essential Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Completes daily recycling routes for commercial customers, parks recycling, internal city recycling and community recycling programs; Picks up and delivers recycling trailers to various communities and schools; Responsible for duties of Recycling Attendant and/or Collection Station Attendant during their absence; Enters and compiles data into Waste Works Data Management Software as necessary; Assists with the cardboard recycling route from local businesses; Assists customers with unloading items from vehicles at Brenham Recycling
