Requisition ID: 78626 Summary Kiewit's Power Delivery department has an exciting opportunity for a Utility Telecommunications Engineer in our Lenexa, KS office to serve as a lead engineer on telecommunications infrastructure projects. The Telecommunications Engineer will be responsible for engineering and technical oversight of communications network designs and associated subsystems. Key responsibilities Scope, estimate, plan and design Telecom system for transmission line and substation projects Develop documents, drawings / diagrams, specifications, and testing procedures for utility Telecommunication systems Design networks using fiber optics, microwave, radio, leased service, or cellular utilizing client standards or developing new standards.
