Work requires a professional level of knowledge to perform tests and calculate data for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease for patients from fetus on through geriatrics.--- Operate and maintain specialized echocardiographic equipment in a variety of settings. Understand the physical properties of ultrasound and doppler echocardiography. Select appropriate transducer for patient and setting controls on machine. Complete computer manipulation of echocardiographic data.
