Director Clinical Informatics - (Pittsburgh, PA)

Functions as the primary leadership liaison between the clinical and IT teams as it relates to service lines and AHN Quality and Highmark PEPP teams. Provides leadership for the clinical informatics and IT teams in the development of dashboards and reporting tools to improve the quality and provider background. Collaborates with the project team, IT staff, patient care staff, and physicians to facilitate successful implementations and ongoing optimization. Manages the development, oversight, and evaluation of a strategic map of regulatory and quality metrics to assure clinical systems are designed and implemented at the optimal level of performance from both a clinical and operational perspective. Directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of current and future state analyses resulting in operational redesign to optimize workflow by embedding technology into clinical workflow. Incorporates the best clinical practice and regulatory requirements into workflow redesign.
