Under the supervision of the Director of Critical Care Services and PCU Services. This position is responsible for the staff supervision, daily department operations, project management, staff and patient education, and supervision, coordination, and evaluation of all department functions for the ICU Requirements EDUCATION/BACKGROUND Graduate from accredited institution of Nursing. in Nursing preferred. Active license for state to practice as a Registered Nurse Current CPR certification Current ACLS certification Previous ED & ICU background required Prior managerial requirements required Current PALS required. Prior background in a union environment preferred. Knowledgeable about healthcare law, Title 22, Joint Commission, and federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
