Maintenance Apprentice - (Mansfield, OH)

DescriptionA trainee in the Production Maintenance department with a 4-year objective to attain certification as a Journeyman Production Maintenance. Upon completion of the apprenticeship the applicant will repair and fix items in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and PLCResponsibilities Throughout a 4-year training period, the apprentice shall perform all functions of Production Maintenance with graduating degrees of assistance. Those functions are: Requires the expertise to diagnose problems and repair existing and new equipment. Must have the expertise to read and understand electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, flow charts, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and blue prints. Must have the expertise to use electrical formulas and other handbook formulas necessary to diagnose problems. Must be able to do basic PLC programming, and PLC troubleshooting.
