Art Therapist - (Minneapolis, MN)

Overview Opening is in our adult inpatient units working on Stations 10, 20 and 30. These units work with patients in need of hospitalization for an acute crisis. These units have a 16-17 bed capacity- with average length of stay approx 7-14 days and it fluctuates due to individual patient needs. Team consists of Medical Director, various Psychiatric Providers and Nurse Practitioner, Nursing staff includes Nurse Manager, RNs, Psych Associates, Recreational Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, Art Therapist, CTC's (social workers), and Spiritual Care Specialist. Other specialties utilized based upon individual patient needs. We work as a team in providing a multidisciplinary approach to help patient reach their max capacity. The rehab staff complete individual assessments and provide programming/groups which explore various mental health topics and skill building all the time assessing the functioning level of each patient.
