Small Professional Office seeking person with great computer, math, and accounting skills . Job summary : Bookkeeper Basic Function: Daily use of Quickbooks On-line accounting software to create financial transactions and reports. The creation of financial transactions includes posting info to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, receipts, and invoices. Principal Accountabilities: Purchase supplies and equipment as authorized by management Monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner Issue invoices to customers Ensure that receivables are collected promptly Record receipts and make bank deposits Provide info to the external accountant for creation of company?s financial statements Assemble info for external auditors for the annual audit Maintain an orderly accounting filing system Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
