Staff Engineer - Infection Control R & D - (Newberg, OR)

Overview This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and leading research and engineering project assignments pertaining to infection control and related topics. Assignments require independent judgement in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of various engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. The position is also responsible for providing technical support and guidance on infection control topics throughout the company. Responsibilities Responsible for planning and executing scientific and engineering research and development work unaided or in small teams to accomplish complex projects, which may span the fields of chemistry, microbiology, physics, materials engineering and mechanical engineering. Independently works on a wide spectrum of complex problems that require new approaches through adaptations and modifications of standard scientific and engineering principles, theories, techniques, and procedures.
