Maintenance Technician - (Middletown, OH)

Position overview: The position is working at International Paper in Middletown and will be working as a maintenance technician supporting the operation of their corrugated box plant. Techs will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance as needed throughout the facility. 10% of the job is preventative maintenance. 90% of the position is mechanical maintenance. Techs will be preforming mechanical and electrical maintenance on conveyors, die cutters, corrugating machines, packaging machines, and converting machines. Techs will be working with electric up to 480v. The position is 95% mechanical maintenance. Workplace environment: The facility is a relatively clean environment however can get very dusty at times. The facility is not climate controlled so applicants need to be comfortable working in warm and cool environment. The facility is a union facility so applicants will be required to join the union after a 60 day probationary period. All of the machinery is newer.
