Information: JOB OVERVIEW: A Barista provides excellent guest service including properly preparing Starbucks branded beverages, other foods and beverages, accurately operating a point of sale system and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. DUTIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND Assignments include the following: Serves all customers and guests in an efficient, courteous and friendly manner Takes orders and prepares coffee and other Starbucks beverages accurately and efficiently according to the guests order and Starbucks standards. Operates a point of sale system accurately, properly charging each guest following the standards outlined in the UT Health Tyler Cashier Agreement. Stocks and serves other foods and beverages and self-service counter. Answers guest questions as to the ingredients and methods used in each menu item. Uses suggestive selling to ensure guest satisfaction and sales goals. Works as part of the Caf team to provide a great guest background and a fair workload for all employees.
