ABB Inc. is looking for a Field Service Turbine Specialist to join our Power Generation Business Unit, a part of our Industrial Automation Division. This position provides engineering, commissioning, maintenance, tuning, and optimization services for turbine applications. 2019-05-05 Senior professionals ( > five years of work background) Tasks: As a Field Service Turbine Specialist, assignments include the engineering, start up and tuning of combustion/steam turbine control systems. Someone will need deep knowledge of combustion/boiler control applications. This person will use hands-on background tuning turbine related control loops, logic, control valves, sensors and tuning of controls. Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: * Perform or coordinate highly complex and diverse engineering activities and related analyses associated with major field projects, and provide technical advice to customers and less experienced field engineers.
