Process Engineer - CNCEssential Function: Responsible for the performance of assigned Manufacturing processes. This includes capacity, throughput, yield, reliability, and safety. Develop, lead, and implement projects that improve process metrics. The process engineer shall have an understanding of a complex manufacturing process, preferably in brittle materials, and have expertise to support equipment from start-up to high volume manufacturing. Knowledge of EDM machining processes and controls. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support and lead standardization for various manufacturing processes. Evaluates existing manufacturing methods and sequences and recommends/implements improvements that increase efficiency, reduce cost, reduce waste, improving safety etc. Design and execute tests in support of process improvement.
