Process Engineer - Wire Saw - Springfield Essential Function: Responsible for the performance of assigned manufacturing processes focused on wire slicing silicon material. This includes capacity, throughput, yield, reliability, and safety. Develop, lead, and implement projects that improve these process metrics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Become the subject matter expert for assigned processes Develop, demonstrate and define the optimal conditions for your assigned processes Define process data requirements and statistical process control limits Perform risk assessments and mitigation plans Understand yield, capability, and cost of assigned processes Convert business level objectives into improvement plans for assigned processes Evaluates existing manufacturing methods and sequences and recommends/implements improvements that increase efficiency, reduce cost, reduce waste, improving safety etc. Write technical reports, work instructions and present status and results as required.
