EHS Divisional Safety Manager - (Burlington, NC)

Location Burlington, North Carolina Job ID 18-88778 Date posted 12/23/2018 LabCorp is seeking an experienced Divisional EHS Manager to join our campus in Burlington, NC This position oversees environmental, health, and safety measures for over 1600 employees in multiple divisions including Center for Esoteric Testing, Atlantic Reginald Lab, Distribution Warehouse, and DNA. Although this will have 1st shift hours with the following schedule 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday, this person will also remain on call for emergencies. Some day travel required. Responsibilities: Notify Corporate EHS of changes in EHS personnel in testing and non-testing sites. Serve as an EHS resource for all testing and non-testing sites under their area of responsibility. Identify the need for monitoring for hazards associated with toxic chemicals, flammable liquids, radiation, etc (e.g. exposure monitoring for formaldehyde, methylene chloride, radiation monitoring of radiation workers, etc.).
