The most important responsibility of the Assistant Human Resources Manager is to perform the functions of classification /compensation analyst and provide management and leadership to the recruitment and employment functions. This position is also responsible for providing leadership and direction to HR staff in the absence of the HR Manager. Position duties include the following: Conduct job evaluation, classification and compensation studies Evaluate and analyze job duties and organizational needs in order to develop recommendations and make classification and salary administration decisions Consult with management on position and organizational design Administer salary administration working in conjunction with the salary technician Supervise the Recruitment and Reception functions Daily use of HRIS systems including interpreting data/reports
