Job title: Sales Trainee Classification: Non-Exempt during training, Exempt once promoted to Account Executive Reports To: Individual departmental managers during training, then Senior Vice President of Sales once promoted to Account Executive Location: Memphis HQ Job description Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the Sales Trainee will be required to understand and implement the processes of our internal Operations support functions including Intermodal Operations, Pricing, and Truck Brokerage. The Trainee will shadow teammates, and will be managed by the corresponding department head, who will then approve when the Trainee may move onto the next department. Upon completion, likely 1 year or less, if the Trainee has met Senior Management's standards, they will be promoted to Account Executive. The ultimate goal for the Trainee is to be better prepared for detailed discussions at the sales level.
