Medical Assistant - (Desoto, TX)

You will be required to use POV to travel to satillite clinics weekly. Tuesday Clinic is in Desoto, Thursday clinic is North Richland Hills, and on the three Wednesday of every month Mesquite. All other days we are in the Desoto (home) location. WE ARE A PAPER CHART SOLO DOCTOR PRACTICE-NEPHROLOGIST YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE YEARS OF BACKGROUND- WE WILL TRAIN YOU IF YOU ARE "FRESH" OUT OF SCHOOL, HERE IS A CHANCE TO LEARN VALUABLE JOB SKILLS. Responsibilities Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient details to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients Multi-lingual (preference) Check-out patients, assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services Handle billing process Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures
