Economics Writer - (Richmond, VA)

The Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond has an immediate opening for an Economics Writer. The Economics Writer proposes and writes analytically challenging articles for the Richmond Fed’s quarterly economics magazine, Econ Focus; a monthly essay series, Economic Brief; and other publications. We’re looking for someone with a firm grasp of economic theory and current public policy issues, an expertise to understand and interpret economic research, and excellent written correspondence expertise. The position often involves translating complex ideas in a nontechnical manner for a lay audience with limited knowledge of economics. Salary and benefits are competitive.
