Security Guard - (North Kingstown, RI)

Responsible for overall security of buildings and grounds while on duty. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Controls entrance to building, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed in. Ensures all persons sign in upon entering and sign confidentiality form if entering residential units. Monitors any activity outside buildings to ensure security. Tours both parking areas twice during shift. Assists staff in the event of any emergencies. Conducts regular periodic building tour to ensure all is in order, that doors and windows are secure, and records times of tours on each unit (A-B-C) at Nurse's station. Records in log any unusual events or circumstances also; making sure incident reports are filled out correctly. Is available to check in overnight deliveries. Snow removal as needed. Keeps entrance ways accessible and free of hazards especially during inclement weather. Other duties as required.
