PLC Programmer - (Leander, TX)

Position overview: The successful applicant will participate in quoting and be responsible for designing, and implementing the controls portion of automation for DAC's custom systems. Typical hardware involved includes HMI's, PLC's, Robots, Control Panels, and general controls supporting manufacturing systems. In this position you would be expected to work with minimal day-to-day supervision and direction, frequently working independently in the execution of projects in order to maintain and optimize project schedules. Education: Bachelor?s degree and/or 4 yrs? background in related position. Main responsibilities: PLC and HMI programming of automated machinery using Rockwell Software RS Logix 5000 and Factory Talk. Onsite installation, startup, and customer acceptance testing. Preparation of project documentation. Other aspects of electrical/controls projects. Background: Some programming background with PLC's, HMI's, and VFD's.
