Machine Operator Packer - Extrusion 2nd shift - (Berwick, PA)

* Assist in the productive operation of assigned machinery * Read and follow qualifications on work orders * Accurate completion of production paperwork * Follow established Quality guidelines * Rotation assignment at the work center * Maintaining a clean and orderly working environment * Understand and Follow Company Safety guidelines * Requesting supplies as needed to maintain a continuous process * Involvement in Continuous Improvement Projects * Other responsibilities as required for smooth operation of shift & department as a whole Necessary background: * Must be able to read, write and do basic math * Outstanding communication & cooperation with coworkers and supervisors * Proven expertise to maintain acceptable production rates * Expertise to work with minimal supervision. * Receptiveness to overtime required in department * Receptiveness to cross training and rotational assignments * Acceptable attendance record * Background with indicated machinery a plus * Proven paperwork accuracy
