18-Laborer- Sewer Department - (Conroe, TX)

POSITION DETAILS: This position performs ordinary, labor intensive tasks commonly related to water and sewer system construction and maintenance. Also, assists operator in any way necessary to complete the job. Must be able to work on call duty. Must be available to respond at any hour during an emergency when requested. JOB SCOPE: No supervisory or budgetary responsibilities. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The listed duties are essential job functions that the position has been created to perform. The employee may be called upon to perform any task that is implied from the listed duties or is within the scope of the job overview. Attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position. 1. Drives and operates maintenance vehicles and other vehicles and equipment to job locations. 2. Must be able to locate and manually excavate water and sewer lines when necessary.
